Nellore:
A deputy supervisor within the tourism division of Andhra Pradesh, working at a resort belonging to the division, has been arrested after he was caught on digicam assaulting a differently-abled contract employee. The man attacked her in a match of rage after she identified that he was not sporting a face masks and requested him to put on one, the police mentioned.
The lady has been severely injured.
The incident came about in Nellore on June 27.
A disturbing video, which is being broadly shared, reveals the C Bhaskar Rao, in an orange shirt, strolling to an workplace room and dragging a girl seated at her desk by her hair. She is pulled to the bottom following which the person repeatedly beats her. Three to frour folks attempt to cease him from assaulting the lady. The man is seen hitting the lady with an object as one of many different males tries to tug him away.
The man was ultimately led out of the room. The Nellore police chief informed NDTV a case was registred in opposition to the person underneath a number of sections of the legislation.
“We have arrested him following the Covid protocol. He has undergone Covid test and after the results, he will be presented before the magistrate,” Nellore police chief Bhaskar Bhushan mentioned.
S Rajiv Krishna, Advisor to the Andhra Pradesh authorities, wrote on Twitter, “Case has been booked by Nellore Police @sp_nlr, person arrested and under judicial remand. We w ensure justice is done. Will not tolerate such action.”
Reacting to the video, National Commission for Women chairperson Rekha Sharma tweeted, “I am going to take it up right away. He needs to be booked for his act.”
