Hyderabad:
A 29-year-old software program engineer in Cyberabad was stabbed on Tuesday by an alleged stalker who entered her residence advanced and attacked her with a dagger. The person was reportedly identified to the girl for the final two years. She had reportedly rejected his proposal.
The incident occurred at Laxmi Nagar Colony below Narsingi police station limits within the Cyberabad commissionerate at 7.40 pm. The girl had filed a police grievance final week about harassment by the person.
The accused, Salman Shahrukh, allegedly scaled the wall of the residence advanced and entered the girl’s flat. He has been arrested.
Senior police officer Venkateswarlu stated the girl was taken to a hospital.
In a cell video, the girl is seen injured on her chest and stomach and mendacity unconscious on a chair in her home, whereas her mother and father held her as they waited for medical assist.
State BJP chief Bandi Sanjay reportedly visited the hospital to ask concerning the situation of the girl.
