The earthquake hit Chamba at round 9:30 pm (Representational)
An earthquake of 5.3 magnitude hit Chamba city in Himachal Pradesh this night. Robust tremors had been felt throughout the city and likewise in Manali, which is round 100 km from Chamba. No main injury has been reported to date.
The earthquake hit Chamba at 9:34 pm, on the depth of 10 km, stated Nationwide Middle for Seismology.

“Felt fairly sturdy tremors in Manali. It lasted for about seven seconds,” stated Divyanshu, a Manali native.
“I felt a robust jolt lasting a few seconds. Simply once I was considering of dashing downstairs, the tremors stopped,” Sanjay Kumar, a Chandigarh resident, instructed PTI.
