Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot on Sunday stated his division has authorized greater than 1.5 lakh instances underneath a scheme to offer one-time help of Rs 5,000 to every para-transit automobile driver in the course of the COVID-19-induced lockdown.
“I’m pleased to tell you that the transport division has authorized 1,55,301 instances. Para-transit automobile drivers/house owners will begin receiving Rs 5,000 in financial institution accounts linked to their Aadhaar from Monday,” he tweeted in Hindi.
Earlier this month, the Delhi authorities had determined to increase its scheme of one-time monetary help to cowl e-rickshaw house owners.
