Ram Prasad Bismil, poet and freedom fighter, is being remembered on his 123rd delivery anniversary at present. Leaders throughout the nation tweeted on the icon who died younger after being sentenced to loss of life by British colonial rulers.

Ram Prasad Bismil was born in Shahjahanpur in 1897. He was sentenced to loss of life by the British for what was referred to as the “Kakori conspiracy”. He was hanged on December 19, 1927, on the age of 30.

He was related to the Arya Samaj and was impressed by books written by Swami Dayanand Saraswati. Born to a civic physique employee, he was pressured to drop out of college due to the dearth of cash. But that didn’t kill his ardour for studying and poetry.

Bismil turned a member of the Hindustan Republican Association at an early age. It was right here that he met freedom fighters like Chandra Shekhar Azad, Ashfaqullah Khan, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, Rajguru and others.

On August 9, 1925, Bismil, Ashfaqullah Khan and their associates stopped a practice at a city known as Kakori, simply earlier than Lucknow, and looted money bins of the British authorities. Over 40 freedom fighters have been arrested after the historic occasion.

The freedom fighter can also be appreciated for his literary legacy.

Ram Prasad Bismil’s assortment of poems – ‘Man Ki Lahar’ and ‘Swadeshi Rang’ are well-known. The well-known strains “Sarfaroshi ki tamanna ab hamare dil mein hai, dekhna hai zor kitna baazu-e-qatil mein hai” written by Urdu poet Bismil Azimabadi, for younger freedom fighters, have been Ram Prasad Bismil’s warfare cry.
