A rocket-propelled grenade or RPG was fired from the road that shattered the glasses on the Punjab Police’s intelligence headquarters in Mohali, the police stated on Monday.
The police known as it an RPG-like assault and termed the blast a minor one.
“A minor explosion was reported on the Punjab Police Intelligence Headquarters in sector 77, SAS Nagar at round 7.45 PM. No injury has been reported. Senior officers are on the spot and an investigation is being accomplished. Forensic groups have been known as,” the Mohali police stated in a press release.
The police have cordoned off the world and an alert has been sounded.
